Being Grateful to Lift Your Vibe

No doubt you have read many articles on how being grateful can lift your vibe; it is also one of the most fundamental elements of manifesting using the Law of Attraction. However, I prefer not to use the term "Law of Attraction" because it has been abused over many years by people out to make a quick buck.


Although I live my life based on these principles, I can assure you that they work as long as you are willing to put in the effort and make things happen. However, there is no magic wand that will manifest you a lottery win; instead, your mindset can be pivotal to helping you attract opportunities in life.


In my personal experience, how you feel definitely can make or break your day! When you wake up in a grumpy mood, no doubt everything will seem to go wrong during the rest of the day. So those bad vibes somehow attract more bad vibes. On the other hand, if you wake up happy, grateful and feeling fabulous, the rest of the day will probably flow beautifully.


In a nutshell, the law of attraction is that we are all made of energy, and even though it is invisible, it is there! Just like the electricity you use in the home, you can't recognise it, but it is there! This energy attracts into your life like energy, i.e. positive energy will attract positive experiences. Likewise, negative energy will attract negative experiences and circumstances.


When you are in a positive vibe, you will be guided to opportunities and people that will help you get to where you want to be in life. The trouble is that it is not always easy to be in a positive vibe. We all have relationship problems, money problems, career problems, health problems, and so on.


I have had all of the above problems and been in despair many times, but I have always managed to climb out of that big black hole. I have always worked to be in a position to lift my vibe into a positive vibe. There are many factors involved here, and gratitude is one of them.


Taking time each day to practice daily journaling will help you stay in a positive vibe. The goal here is to always be in an emotional space that is above 5/10. The illustration below outlines a scale of emotions, and you want to be above 5. No matter how bad you consider it, getting over five will help keep you on track to what you desire.



You are being grateful for what you already have sent out a vibe to the Universe (creator, God or whatever you choose to call it) that you love what you have already been given. Gratitude is a sign of love; the only reason we are on this planet is to love.


Love comes in many ways; it is far more than loving people, as seen in the illustration below.

Every day, write down what you are grateful for. It can be the smallest detail, like the cup of tea you are holding in your hand right now. Do this daily; you will always have something to be grateful for, and being grateful is love, and being loved is a positive vibe.



I have never had to stop writing to consider what I'm grateful for. For instance, today, I am thankful for: My daughters, my family, my home, the view from my desk, watching the sunrise, having my health, the money I have in the bank, the money that is coming my way, my clients, my ability to touch type... The list is endless.
