Hello, I'm Deb, the publisher of this website.

Recently, I became aware of a scammer impersonating me online and attempting to contact people using fake email addresses and false profiles. This individual has even used my photo and joined websites as a “member” to appear legitimate.

To be absolutely clear: the following email addresses do not belong to me and should be ignored if you receive communication from them:

The scammer may create other gmail accounts using my name also, as that person is aware that I am on to them.

My only official websites are:

If you are ever uncertain about communication claiming to be from me, please use the contact forms on my official websites or my known social media accounts or deb@debcarr.com

How to Protect Yourself From Online Impersonators

Sadly, impersonation scams are becoming more common, especially on large online platforms. Here are some ways you can protect yourself:

  • Check the email address carefully: Scammers often create addresses that look similar to a legitimate one. Always cross-reference with the official websites.

  • Verify through official channels: If in doubt, go directly to the official website and use the contact form there.

  • Be wary of unsolicited offers: If someone contacts you unexpectedly offering services, discounts, or asking for money, take a moment to verify before responding.

  • Report suspicious activity: If you receive an email or message you believe to be fraudulent, report it to the platform (Google, Wix, etc.) and to Scamwatch in Australia.

My Commitment

I value the trust of my clients, readers, and community. I have reported this impersonation to Wix, Google, and the relevant authorities. These scams are distressing, but transparency is the best way to stop them.

By publishing this notice across my websites, my goal is to protect others from falling victim. If you ever see or receive anything suspicious that looks like it’s from me, please reach out through my official sites to double-check.

Together, by staying alert and informed, we can make it harder for impersonators to succeed.
