Coles announced today that it has donated $143 million in funding and over 35 million meals to Australians in need.
The announcement, which includes specifics about the donations, was made today as part of Coles' 2021 Sustainability report.
Coles' food donations totalled more than 18 million kilogrammes, which equates to more than 35 million meals.
The food donations were given to national community partners SecondBite and Foodbank in order to feed Australians who are struggling.

According to the report, which covers the fiscal year 2021, Coles contributed $143 million in community support to communities across Australia in collaboration with customers, team members, and suppliers.
